30th Birthday Māori Patu with Optional Engraving

This carved Māori 30th Birthday Patu is a great gift for the friend or family member turning thirty.

The patu is made from sustainably harvested Tulip Wood, a hardwood (but surprisingly lightweight).

It is inlaid with a number 30 in New Zealand Paua Shell, our native abalone, found only in NZ waters.  Paua shell has beautiful irridescent shades of blue, green, pink and purple, and no two pieces are the same.

The patu measures approximately 41.5cm (16 3/8") long, and hangs from  plaited cord.

ENGRAVING:
Make the patu even more special by laser engraving the recipient's name and birthdate on the back.  It can also be paua engraved with their name (only), but the name can only have up to 15 characters (and CAPITALS only).

Please note that once engraved, the patu cannot be returned, aside from the unlikely event of us getting the engraving wrong.
