Gold and Jade Newborn Māori Baby Korowai with Optional Gift Box

A korowai is the perfect gift for the new baby. Use it for a very special photo. Later they can hang it on the wall - it would look beautiful in a glass fronted box.

The correct Māori name for it is kahu huruhuru, but many people, including Māori, still call it a korowai.

The korowai is machine sewn by a Māori lady from Auckland, New Zealand, to make it affordable for all.  It measures approximately 37cm x 39cm (14 1/2" x 15 1/4").

The taniko is gold, black and white, and the feathers are white at the top, then a beautiful mix of gold and jade.
