What is Tallow?

Tallow has been used in skincare for longer than most modern products have existed, Before the influx of industrially processed seed oils and manmade chemicals in skincare, animal-based products such as tallow were the primary base ingredient for skincare products developed by our ancestors. Beef Tallow is an incredibly nourishing, vitamin-rich substance. The minerals and vitamins naturally found in tallow (vitamins A, B12, D, E, and K) are all beneficial for skin health and appearance. The nutrient profile and composition of tallow are very similar to the human sebum (the oily layer below our skin). Because of this, our skin recognizes and readily absorbs the product immediately upon application, resulting in remarkably nourished skin.

Directions:

Use a small amount of whipped tallow balm for effective hydration throughout the day. If it doesn't absorb quickly, you may be using too much. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. No need to refrigerate or freeze unless storing for 6-12 months after purchase.
